Lei disse sì has become one of the most engaging projects about civil rights in Italy, and still contributes to sensibilize the community on lgbti rights. The Movie has been selected in many international festivals and projected in many movie theaters around the country and internationally. The documentary is a sample of mindfulness on social art and politics issues.

Synopsis
Lorenza and Ingrid have been in love for seven years and they wish to get married: that’s why they involve friends and family in the preparation of the wedding that will take place in Sweden, a country where everybody can get married, during the midsummer festival on June 21, 2013.
Aware of amplifying the voice of all those who are denied the right to imagine a future together, the two women bring to life a tale which is romantic, political, serious and light-hearted all at once, where the theme of happiness is brought on by the importance of sharing, by the choice of the clothes and by all those “little things” that nourish marriage as a rite.
Cross Media Project – crowdfunding
Just Say Yes is a cross-media project that includes a video blog , a Facebook page and a documentary film. Thanks to daily video pills, the videoblog narrates the events that take place in the months prior to the marriage of Ingrid and Lorenza. The two women have to go to Sweden in order to get married since in Italy same sex marriage is not allowed. In the spring of 2013 the authors launched a campaign on the crowdfunding platform “produzionidalbasso.net” as to support the production of the documentary Just say yes .
The interest that generated from the blog and the promotion of crowdfunding has brought the authors to travel quite a lot in several Italian cities where they have been invited to share their testimony. This spontaneous tour and the strong sense of community that formed and grew around the project resulted in the successful collection of 10,000 Euros provided by crowdfunding over a period of three months.
Lei disse sì nel corso di 3 anni è diventato uno dei progetti più importanti in termini di diritti civili in italia e contribuisce tutt’oggi a sensibilizzare la comunità sui diritti lgbti. Il film ha vinto l’Edizione 2014 del Biografilm Festival ed è stato selezionato in svariati festival internazionali e nazionali. Alla vigilia della discussione di legge Cirinnà che regola le unioni civili in Italia il film è stato proiettato alla camera dei deputati in proiezione speciale.
Distribuito nelle sale italiane da I Wonder Pictures e SKY ARTE HD è stato il film della giornata delle donne per circuito UCI nel 2015.
Sinossi
Lorenza e Ingrid da 7 anni vivono una storia d’amore e desiderano sposarsi: per questo coinvolgono amici e parenti nella preparazione del matrimonio che si svolgerà in Svezia, dove il matrimonio è per tutti, durante la festa di mezza estate: il 21 giugno 2013.
Consapevoli di amplificare la voce di tutti coloro cui è negato il diritto di immaginarsi un futuro insieme, le due donne danno vita a una racconto romantico, politico, serio e scanzonato allo stesso tempo, dove il tema della felicità passa dall’importanza della condivisione alla scelta degli abiti e tutte quelle “piccolezze” che nutrono il matrimonio come rito.

Il blog racconta i mesi che precedono il matrimonio di Ingrid e Lorenza, due donne che si amano e che per sposarsi devono andare in Svezia perché in Italia il matrimonio per persone dello stesso sesso non è consentito. Nella Primavera 2013 le autrici lanciano una campagna di raccolta fondi su produzionidalbasso.net a supporto della realizzazione del documentario omonimo.
L’interesse generato dal blog e la promozione della raccolta fondi a portato le autrici a viaggiare in molte località italiane dove hanno aperto un dialogo ancora acerbo in Italia sui diritti civili per le coppie omosessuali. Questo tour e il forte senso di comunità che si è formato ed è cresciuto intorno al progetto ha permesso di concludere la raccolta fondi con successo raccogliendo 10.000 euro in tre mesi.
